Known as ‘Grandma the Great’, she was a loving grandmother of 18 and beloved ‘G.G.’ (great-grandmother) of 25. She was also predeceased by her sister Rosemary McKay. Donald E. James will always be remembered for his zeal for life, his love for racing and his quest for the checkered flag. Pauline has three surviving siblings, Joseph Kopac and George Kopac , and Florence D'Auria and sister-in-law Janet Kopac. In 1994, he retired from the Town of Orangetown as a highway maintenance supervisor. Walt was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan and a member of the Empire Hook and Ladder Company in Upper Nyack. He also served as vice president of the Piermont Senior Citizens for two years. Walt was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He enjoyed the trips with the Piermont Senior Citizens and golfing as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Murphy Sr. Beloved mother of Hugh Jr. and his wife Joanne, Martha and her husband George, Kevin and his wife Chris, and Thomas Murphy. Cherished grandmother, “Gram” to Shannon and her husband Adam, Robyn and her husband Tom, Steven and his wife Tracy, Tara, Melanie, Erin, Megan, and Shea. Mary ‘Edie’ Reimer, a resident of Orangeburg for over 56 years, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her side.

She was born on January 27, 1931 in the Bronx to George and Lillian Bauman and was resident of Rockland County for 49 years. Lillian was a devout parishioner and secretary of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan and Dominican College in Orangeburg. Billy was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived much of his childhood in County Donegal in Ireland. An 11-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department, he served with Engine 88 / Ladder 38 in the Belmont section of the Bronx.

In Alpine she met her devoted husband of 50 years, Eugene. They married on October 31,1964 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Tenafly and moved to River Edge where they lived for 40 years and raised their family. Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Anthony, whom she married on November 20, 1949. She is survived by her five children, Thomas , William , Gary , James and Mary Ellen Dickson . In lieu of flowers, donations to United Hospice of Rockland () would be greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (), to Villa Marie Claire Hospice () in Saddle River or to Gilda’s Club in Hackensack ().
